Pigeon-Point-Lighthouse-Pescadero-Dusk

Last night, I went out with my new baby - a tilt shift lens purchased from Germany.

A board member of a non-profit organization, which provides self-sufficiency programs and housing to disadvantaged families, told me it was hosting its annual luncheon and could use some photos for decoration. Out I went into the Peninsula for inspiration.

It felt desolate, yet comforting standing by the edge of the freeway watching the sunset as the first flickers of the lighthouse came on. Perched along the Californian coastline at Pigeon Point, this pillar has stood guiding those at sea since 1872. Though change is inevitable, somethings remain.

To all those who have felt imbued with restless indecision and lost with uncertainty, there is a light for you to find.
